How Do You Date Marbles?
- Dating marbles can be tricky, but there are a few ways to estimate their age. One way is to look for the pontil mark, which is a rough spot on the marble where it was cut from the glass rod. Marbles with pontil marks are likely to be older, as modern marbles are usually machine-made and don’t have these marks.
