How to Get Burn Marks out of Marble Countertop

Use a fine-grit sandpaper to gently sand away the burn mark.
Wipe the area clean with a soft, damp cloth and let it dry completely.
If the burn mark is still visible, use a marble polishing compound to buff it out.
